What important decision have you been sitting on? The giant within you is waiting for it.

Last week, Tony shared an update on the revised version of his classic book, Awaken the Giant Within. He asked, What decision have you been postponing and what would your life look like if you made it today?

If that hit a nerve, you're not alone. Most of us confuse being interested with being committed. As Tony writes in his upcoming book, a preference "is not a commitment at all… It's a weak prayer made without even the faith to launch it."

A true decision is different. The word itself comes from the Latin de (meaning "from") and caedere ("to cut"). To decide literally means cutting yourself off from every other possibility.

But deciding is only the first step. In Chapter 2 of Awaken the Giant Within, Tony shares the process he's used to shape his entire life. 

1. Decide what you want.
   
   

2. Take action (massive action, because any action is a cause set in motion).
   
   

3. Notice what's working and what isn't.
   
   

4. Change your approach until you achieve what you want.

That's it. Tony has used this formula to transform every area of his life, and the reason it works is simple. When you truly commit to making something happen, the "how" will reveal itself.

Your challenge this week: Take the decision you've been postponing and run it through the formula. Decide. Take action. Notice the result. Adjust as needed. And don't leave the scene of that decision without taking one specific action today.
