There’s a belief that sounds good on the surface but holds a lot of people back.
That belief is this: That everyone should be equal in every area of life.
Now let me be clear.
As human beings, as souls, we are all equal. We all deserve love, dignity, and respect.
But in the marketplace?
We are not equal.
And that’s not a judgment. It’s a principle.
The marketplace doesn’t reward intention.
It rewards value.
You don’t get paid for what you want. You get paid for the problems you solve. You get paid for the value you deliver.
I’ve built my entire brand off of results. Not effort, not good intentions.
Early in my life, I was fortunate to be mentored by Jim Rohn.
I was young, hungry, and frustrated. I was working hard... but not getting the results I wanted.
And Jim taught me a distinction that changed everything.
He said, “Don’t wish it were easier. Wish you were better.”
That one idea reframes the entire game.
Because if you want more income…
You must become more valuable.
Jim taught me that success is not something you pursue.
It’s something you attract…
By the person you become.
By the skills you build.
By the value you create.
By the problems you learn to solve.
Now think about your own life.
Where are you waiting for more…
Instead of becoming more?
Because income is not random.
It’s a reflection.
A reflection of:
- The level at which you serve
If you want to increase your income, your impact, and your influence... there’s a simple path.
Add more value. Do it consistently.
Most people obsess over what they’re going to get. Those who create value obsess over what they can give. Because when you do, you move up. And if it’s not in your current environment, someone else will recognize your value and reward it.
And here’s what most people miss. Adding value isn’t just about what you do.
It’s about how you think.
It’s asking:
- “How can I make this better?”
- “How can I serve this person at a higher level?”
- “How can I exceed expectations?”
The marketplace is always searching for people who make things better.
So if you want more freedom…
More income…
More opportunity…
Don’t chase it. Become the person who creates it.
Add more value.
And the rewards will follow.
