Watch: 1 hr | 4 Question to ask yourself
Every day, your brain asks thousands of questions—and most of them, you don’t even notice.
But those silent questions shape your focus. And what you focus on, you feel.
Ask, “Why do I always fail?”—and your brain will give you an answer.
Ask, “How can I grow from this?”—and suddenly, you open the door to possibility.
At Date With Destiny, I help people uncover the one question they ask most often every day (it’s subconscious). It’s the one question that silently drives their emotions, decisions, and destiny.
For years, mine was “How can I make this better?”—which kept me constantly in motion, always improving. But it also implied things weren’t already enough. Today I ask, “How can I serve even more?” That one shift changed everything. I operate from a sense of service instead of striving.
And here’s a powerful tool I use with clients, business leaders, and myself—created by my dear friend Byron Katie.
Let’s say your belief is:
“I’ll never grow my business.”
Ask yourself:
- Is it true? Feels like it.
- Can I absolutely know if it’s true? No, I can’t.
- How do I feel when I believe it? Stuck, discouraged, small.
- Who would I be without it? Focused, creative, in motion.
Now, flip the belief: It’s absolutely possible to grow my business.
And find three reasons why it is possible: I’ve done hard things before. I have support. I’m learning fast.
When you question your thoughts, you interrupt the pattern—and open space for truth, clarity, and action.
So, what’s the primary question running your life?
And what new question will finally set you free?
Here’s to asking the right questions,
